Brujos impress early, hold on for win against El Paso.
On a chilly and grey October Saturday, the Brujos got off to a hot start in their first home match of the season, then held on for a 45 to 26 victory as the Scorpions attempted a comeback in the second half. The Brujos led 24 to 7 at half, and 45 to 12 at one point in the second half, before El Paso managed a couple of tries in the final 10 minutes.

In other New Mexico Rugby news the Albuquerque Aardvarks fell to the Santa Fe Santos 21 to 15, the University of New Mexico men's Rugby team fell to Texas Tech in a nail biter, 31 to 29, and the NM Tech Pygmies blanked the UTEP Miners, 59-0.
