Wizardfest and AGM this weekend, Fall practice continues, and other Brujos news.

The 2019 Wizardfest is at Monte Vista Fire Station on August 17th 2019, from 5PM to 8PM. Doors open at 5, service begins at 6. Rugby prom is always a good time and this year should be no different. Tickets are $30 per person, you can Venmo your treasurer @PeterEDunn

This year's Annual General Meeting is also scheduled for Saturday August 17th from 12 to 2 PM at Monte Vista Fire Station. This meeting is mandatory to discuss the future year of the club and vote on new leadership members.

Fall Practice Begins

The Fall season is here, and that means it's practice time. Beginning August 6th practices will be Tuesdays and Thursdays at UNM's Johnson Field. Practice starts at 6 PM, that means cleats on and ready to go at 6 PM! Everyone is welcome, all levels of rugby experience! No matter if this will be your first look at rugby or your 50th season, we want you going out to practice with the NM Brujos RFC. Bring a friend along! All you need is some athletic wear and soccer style cleats. And water of course, don't forget water!

Coming off a very successful 2018/2019 season that included a second place finish their division and a playoff birth, the New Mexico Brujos tentative schedule for Fall 2019 has been announced. Currently the Brujos are scheduled to open their 2019 campaign At the Santa Fe 10's tournament on labor day weekend. A friendly against UNM the following weekend and a pair of tournament appearances in October make up the remainder of the non-league fall schedule. The Brujos play their only rugby union match of the fall on November 2nd against the visiting Santa Fe Santos. We'll see you on the pitch!
