NM Brujos Marathon a Day Challenge and S.A.F.E House Fundraiser week 1 recap: Brujos run over 275 mi
Last week the New Mexico Brujos announced the Marathon a Day Challenge to raise money for S.A.F.E House. After the first week the results were better than we could have hoped. As a team the Brujos ran over 275 miles (276.13 to be exact), and have raised $576 for S.A.F.E House. That's a quarter of a the way toward our goal of $2500, so keep running and to all our fans and supporters, keep those donations coming!
The idea is simple, as a team the Brujos, their family, and even their supporters goal is to run a marathon (that's 26.22 miles for all you non-long distance runners out there.) everyday. You can show your support for this effort by making a donation to SAFE House. As you may know, the Covid-19 epidemic has led to an increase in domestic violence, your contribution to SAFE House will make an impact, whether you donate $5 or $500, every little bit helps.
100% of the money raised will go directly to SAFE House. Everyday we will be documenting and sharing our runs on this page in our quest to run a marathon a day. So let's lace up those running shoes, fire up those run trackers, and get running! Thank you for your support!
