Spring practice is now thrice as nice! The New Mexico Brujos are moving their Spring practice to three days a week at their brand new location, the Mesa Del Sol Sports Complex located at 5601 University Blvd SE, Albuquerque, NM 87106.
In addition to practicing Mondays and Fridays, the NM Brujos are adding Wednesdays too! The practice time is changing as well, slightly. Mondays and Wednesdays practice now begins at 7 PM, while on Fridays practice still begins at 6 PM.
This state-of-the-art facility features professional stadium lighting, artificial turf fields, and—best of all—we’ll be practicing on our very own regulation-size pitch.
As always new players and all skill levels are always welcome!
Cleats, mouthguard, and water are very much recommended.

Scrimmage against NM Tech and Touch Tournament this Saturday!
The New Mexico Brujos Spring 2025 season officially kicks off on March 8th, but this Saturday you can join the NM Brujos as they get in shape before the SWRU season with some touch rugby and a 7s scrimmage! First, the Brujos will be taking part in the Rio Rancho Rugby Coach Gregg Memorial Touch Tournament on Saturday, March 1st, starting at 10 AM at the Rio Rancho Sports Complex. Coach Gregg was a longtime fixture in local rugby as both a player and most recently a championship winning youth coach. After the touch tournament, stick around as the Brujos play some 7s scrimmages against NM Tech to help them prepare for their upcoming season.
This will be a great day of local rugby, for a good cause you won't want to miss, que viva!
NM Brujos 2025 Spring Schedule
Spring rugby starts next week!
Following the above mentioned March 1st touch tournament and scrimmage vs Tech this Saturday, The Brujos kick off the 2025 season with a home match against crosstown rivals The Albuquerque Aardvarks on next Saturday March 8th. In addition, next week's home match will actually be played in Socorro, more on that next week. The Brujos play their final home match of the Spring season the next week against the visiting El Paso Scorpions on March 15th. The following week it's the Aardvarks again on March 22nd, before finishing the Spring season with a trip to Santa Fe on March 29th.
